With 28 years of experience as a psychotherapist, I have dedicated my career to helping clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves. Through the process of self-exploration, my clients have been able to navigate significant challenges and ultimately create more fulfilling and manageable lives. I focus on key areas such as relationships, communication, and career, guiding individuals in uncovering their own solutions while also helping them develop and effectively apply new skills. It is incredibly rewarding to witness the transformation that occurs when clients embrace self-discovery and take actionable steps towards positive change. My approach is collaborative, empowering individuals to recognize their strengths and potential as they work towards their goals.

Hi! I am a queer, liberation-focused psychotherapist. I'm also a second-generation yoga teacher, a psychic witch, an author and an artist. For over a decade, I have helped clients who suffer from depression and anxiety, relationship strife, transitions, self doubt and sometimes just the despair that comes from being conscious in today's world.
I love working with those recovering from years (sometimes decades) of dieting, disordered eating, food obsession, internalized weight stigma and body hatred.
I've mostly worked with women, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, sober folks and those who suffer from body and food stuff.
My training includes IFS, DBT, ACT, and I love utilizing spiritual and mindfulness tools during sessions, if that vibes with the client.
I've been interviewed for various articles, podcasts and broadcasts, including on NPR, and I co-host a podcast that explores how psychotherapy conspires with the many systems that cause mental suffering.
I grew up in the Bay Area, lived in DC and NYC for over 20 years, and recently relocated to Palm Springs CA where I am grateful every day for the dry heat, big sky and the desert vibrations.

Welcome - I'm so glad you're here. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I offer couples, family and EMDR therapy sessions to support the treatment of relationship issues, life transitions and trauma. After receiving a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from Chapman University, I went on to complete a master's degree in marital and family therapy at the University of San Diego. Both have equipped me with the education and experience to address all things involving relationships and communication. I am also trained in both Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Attachment Based Family Therapy (ABFT). My clinical experience spans various levels of care and settings (outpatient, residential treatment and private practice) treating trauma, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, family issues, and marital conflict.
