I earned my M.S. in Counseling Psychology at California Lutheran University (CLU) in May 2021, with a specialization in trauma. During my time in graduate school, I received direct counseling experience at CLU’s Community Counseling Services, where I worked primarily with adults and adolescents. After graduation I began working with a wide range of clients in private practice. I loved it so much I started my own private practice as soon as I became licensed in September 2024.
What started as an interest in human behavior and Psychology, blossomed into empathy for the human experience and learning what an incredible privilege it is to hear and witness the vulnerability of others. While obtaining my MA in Marital and Family Therapy, I worked in Community Mental Health, primarily serving low-income families. I have gained a wide range of experiences with many diverse populations. Maintaining cultural competence, and open-mindedness to all is crucial to my identity as a therapist. A safe and supportive environment is the foundation of the therapeutic relationship.
