I’m a therapist who believes therapy should feel supportive, practical, and human. I have experience working with adults and teens navigating mental health challenges as well as substance use and recovery. I use evidence-based approaches to help clients build insight, develop coping skills, and create meaningful change. I also believe humor can be an important part of the process—sometimes a little laughter helps make tough work feel more manageable.
Outside of work, I’m family-oriented and enjoy staying active at the gym, trying new restaurants and places, and balancing it all with cozy nights in. I aim to bring that same balance into therapy by creating a space where people feel comfortable, understood, and supported as they work toward the life they want.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Felician University. With a deep commitment to supporting individuals through life’s challenges, I work with clients navigating relationship issues, trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, aging, phase-of-life transitions, career aspirations and changes, and parental challenges. In my therapy sessions, I create a safe and nurturing environment where every individual is welcome and valued. I understand that seeking support is a personal and sometimes vulnerable experience, so I prioritize warmth, respect, and openness. My approach is rooted in compassion, ensuring that clients feel heard and supported as they explore their thoughts and emotions. No matter their background or experiences, they can trust that therapy will be a space of acceptance, understanding, and growth.
My name is Marie. I am an advanced practice nurse dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward mental and emotional well-being. I hold an MSN from Walden University I have about 5 years of experience working in the mental health field as a nurse. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse populations, which has enriched my understanding and approach to therapy.
I help ambitious adults who feel plateaued or stuck in their work, relationships, healing or personal growth. On the surface life may look solid, yet anxiety lingers, relationships feel strained, or old patterns keep showing up when they try to move forward in their work, relationships, or personal growth. You understand yourself intellectually, but the deeper patterns still feel outside your control. Often the coping strategies that once propelled you forward are now the very things holding you back. You may even know exactly what needs to change, yet still find yourself repeating the same reactions when pressure rises.
