I am licensed in New York with 25 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with trauma and abuse, parenting issues, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & compassion fatigue. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!
I chose to become a therapist because I am amazed at the healing process through human connection. As complex beings, I am left in awe at the strength and resilience each individual possesses. I believe that despite difficulties faced, we have the power to rewrite our own story and live to fullest most authentic selves.
Our work together will not only aid you in overcoming any difficulties you may be facing but help understand patterns to develop tools that can be used in everyday life.
I aim to provide a healing space through compassion, support and acceptance. My approach is grounded in psychodynamic theory, however, I often utilize tools from different modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and inner child healing.
I hope to have the opportunity to hear from you and help you achieve your greater self.
As a New York native, a first-generation Latina, and a licensed clinical therapist, I have a deep commitment to making therapy more accessible, affirming, and real—especially for communities that haven’t always had a seat at the table.
Growing up, therapy wasn’t something people around me talked about. Between financial struggles and cultural stigma, mental health care felt out of reach. That’s part of what led me here—to become the kind of therapist I wish I had when I was younger.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Touro College in New York. I’ve spent the past 8 years working closely with children, teens and adults, helping them navigate anxiety, trauma, identity challenges, and life transitions.
Do you ever feel like you’re stuck in a constant state of survival mode? Overwhelmed by stress, emotionally drained, or just going through the motions of life? Reaching out for help takes courage, and you don’t have to navigate this alone. Taking the first steps toward therapy can feel overwhelming, I know, because I’ve been there too. My goal is to help you navigate this process by providing a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you feel safe, seen, and understood. I work primarily with young adults in their 20’s and 30’s who are navigating anxiety, trauma, family and relationship issues, stress, and life transitions. Many of my clients come to therapy seeking to gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their experiences, and the reasons behind their emotions.
I have a passion for working with individuals struggling with life changes and mental health. As a licensed clinical social worker, I have 25 years experience working as a therapist in various counseling, school, and mental health environments. I provide individual and family therapy to adolescents and adults in a supportive, safe, environment. I am experienced in working with anxiety and mood disorders, disordered eating, life transitions, relationship issues, and self esteem.
I am a clinician with several years of experience in addiction, depression, grief, bereavement, ACOA issues. My approach to treatment is direct but gentle encouragement to help a client deal with their feelings and make changes that are beneficial for them. My dynamic is serious but also humorous. I truly believe that in some cases laughter is the best medicine. I accept clients ages 25+.
