---“Beginnings can be scary, endings can be sad, but it’s the middle that counts. We just need to remember that when we find ourselves at the beginning, just give hope a chance to float up” (Sandra Bullock, Hope Floats)
Does it feel like you’ve been going through life in “survival mode?” Are you asking yourself “what is my purpose in life?” Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed by fear when considering a change in your life? Are you trying to navigate a transition in your life--job, relocation, relationships, chronic illness/disability etc? Let’s face it, life doesn’t always work out the way we plan and can make us feel all kinds of different emotions. It’s ok to not feel ok all the time. We all go through challenging times in our lives. We don’t have to have a mental health disorder to seek a professional. We may need to seek out someone who can provide a guiding hand, and an objective ear to listen, to help you discover your own underlying strengths, and to provide you with answers to your questions and help you along your journey. I can help you learn to listen to your body, quiet your mind, and follow your heart to find peace within your soul.

Jeffrey Ottowitz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) practicing in both New York and New Jersey. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Central Florida.
With nearly three decades of experience, he has worked with culturally diverse populations across the East Coast, the Midwest, and Hawai‘i in a wide range of psychotherapeutic and community-based settings. His professional background includes trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, substance use recovery, and supporting individuals and families navigating complex emotional and life transitions.
Jeffrey is particularly attuned to the intersection of emotional, psychological, and spiritual growth, working with clients who are seeking a deeper sense of meaning and alignment in their lives. His work supports both traditional therapeutic goals and integrative approaches such as psychedelic integration and mindfulness-based exploration, always within a safe, grounded, and ethical framework.
Ari Gabin is an LCSW who mentors his clients while staying ever cautious to their unique needs. It is a process that he has successfully mastered during his interactions with a culturally diverse population. In a therapeutic partnership, he uses strategies that enhance resilience and fortitude to help clients offset the turbulent times that plague the fibers of happiness.
His therapy style is warm, engaging, interactive, and collaborative. Each session is tailored to the client and treatment is based on individual needs. Each client is unique and requires a tailor-made treatment plan to help them reach their goal. He uses a myriad of theory and techniques, including CBT, DBT, interpersonal process therapy, emotion-focused therapy, existential therapy, crisis intervention, mindfulness, narrative therapy, psychodynamic theory, psychoeducation, and solution-focused therapy (among other modalities).
Specialties:

As a clinical social worker, I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy at some point in time. I work with people from many walks of life to get re-centered and back on track. I focus on developing strategies to take care of one self, creating goals and evaluating barriers that get in the way. I help people identify limiting beliefs and heal from past trauma in order to move forward and create the life you desire.
I’m a licensed therapist who specializes in working with adults healing from childhood trauma, emotional neglect, and attachment wounds. If you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship patterns that feel hard to break, or a persistent sense of not feeling “good enough,” you’re not alone—and therapy can help.
