I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from California University of Pennsylvania in 2020. Since then, I’ve worked with children and adults facing depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, and some substance use, also at a psychiatrist hospital and with youth in the juvenile system. I’m a first-generation Nigerian American and the creative “black sheep” of my family. I bring empathy, authenticity, and individuality into my therapy practice, helping clients heal and grow.
"As a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), I specialize in treating both porn/sexual addiction and the resulting Partner Betrayal Trauma. My work delves into the unconscious, deep-rooted patterns and past experiences that fuel compulsive behaviors.
Utilizing a psychodynamic approach, I help clients gain the insight necessary for lasting change, full life restoration, and healing the core issues."
Sylvester Ojeah has been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Texas for more than 23 years, working in the mental health field in both public and private sectors for three decades. He has worked with anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, anger management and substance abuse.
I always say "You can't bully yourself into becoming the person you want to be" and it is true. Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship struggles, or life transitions, I provide a safe, supportive space to explore your concerns and build the tools to thrive. Together, we’ll foster resilience, self-acceptance, and stronger connections.
I am originally from Houston, TX. I earned my B.A. from the University of Houston and M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University New Orleans.
